HDFC Bank Ltd. is an Indian financial services company. The Bank operates in four segments: treasury, retail banking, wholesale banking and other banking business. HDFC Bank was promoted by the Housing Development Finance Corporation, a premier housing finance company of India. HDFC Bank commenced operations as a Scheduled Commercial Bank in January 1995.
