No matter what, you have the ability to smile the most welcoming smile and put the customer’s needs first. You love being able to make each and every person’s stay not only memorable but personal and you’re able to do that because you understand the importance of the small details.

You’re a mind-reader due to your ability to anticipate what your customer wants before they even knew what they wanted. And juggler because you love change and are focused on delivering outstanding guest experience whilst overseeing a busy reception.

What will I be responsible for as a Front Office Team Member?

As a Receptionist at the Holiday Inn Leeds Bradford, you will be trusted to check in guests and respond to queries about the hotel, ensuring each and every one of them have an outstanding and memorable experience each and every time.

  • Checking guests in and out
  • Answering calls in a timely manner
  • Taking payments from guests and chasing up payments
  • Show arounds
  • Making guest reservations
  • General tidying of the reception
  • Ordering stationary and stocking reception
  • Daily banking and reports
  • Replying to emails
  • IHG related tasks
  • Following a shift procedure sheet

As cliched as it sounds, you’ll constantly want to find innovative ways to put a smile on your customers face.

Is this Front Office role right for me?

  • You’ll already be an established experienced Receptionist ideally from the Hotel background, or a professional with a knowledge of the hospitality industry who lives breathes and sleeps outstanding service.
  • You’re confidently able to respond to incoming queries to the hotel, whilst checking-in guests and all the time ensuring you provide outstanding first impressions.

ideally someone with Amadeus/Brilliant experience.

This position is a full time position of 40 hours over 7 days. Shifts include weekends and bank holidays.
Candidates must be flexible.

Shifts are –
Early Shift: 7am – 3.30pm
Late Shift: 2.30pm – 11pm.
