The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT, Türkiye Cumhuriyet Merkez Bankası, TCMB) is the central bank of Turkey. The Bank has two core purposes: Monetary Stability and Financial Stability. Monetary stability means stable prices and confidence in the currency. Financial stability engages with detection and reduction of threats to the financial system.
